I am very happy top report that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 is no longer the number one film i the country. I am also very happy to report that Skyfall has ascended back into the top spot.
James Bond is once again sitting at the top of the box office with $11 million. That’s 33.6% drop from last week bringing Skyfall‘s domestic total to $261.6 million and it’s worldwide cume to a fantastic $918.2. Skyfall will most likely become the first Bond film to surpass $1 billion globally.
Rise of the Guardians jumped a few places from last weekend to finish at number two with a drop of 21.3% and $10.5 million. It now stands at $61.9 million domestic.
The Twi-hards didn’t go to the theatres in force this weekend as Breaking Dawn – Part 2 only managed a third place showing. The last flick in the series fell 47.2% to finish the weekend with $9.2 million and a domestic total of $268.7 million.
The number four spot goes to Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln, which fell31.9% and $9.1 million. Lincoln has now amassed $97.3 million domestically.
Life of Pi nabbed the number five spot with $8.3 and a drop of 31.7%. It’s domestic total is now $60.9 million.
