What Michael Bay has planned is still in the works for the robots in disguise, but now more potential plans are crystallizing such as having veteran actor Mark Wahlberg star. Now, “Transformers” have found two new actors to anchor the films cast.
Actress Nicola Peltz will step in to play Wahlberg’s daughter. She has been in M. Night Shyamalan’s “The Last Air Bender,” and will be soon seen in the television off-shoot of “Psycho.” Taking up the role of her boyfriend will be Australian actor Brenton Thwaites who is known for the teen drama “SLiDE.”
With the movie now replacing Shia LaBeouf and whichever female protagonist selected, the movies have been rumored to be a new trilogy, so expect the new couple to be in it for the long run.
“Transformers 4” is slated for a 2014 opening.
