CBS Television, producer of the original series, is hoping to bring The Twilight Zone back to primetime; and they think Bryan Singer is that man to do it.
This won’t be Singer’s first venture into TV. He produced House, and directed the failed Munsters reboot Mockingbird Lane. He may also direct the pilot for the new Twilight Zone.
CBS is now looking for a writer and will shop the project to networks once the script is finished.
The original series was created by Rod Serling and took viewers “between the pit of man’s fears and the summit of his knowledge — the summit of imagination.”
