HOT Image Of EM-209 Humanoid Drone From ‘Robocop’

UPDATE: It has just been brought to my attention that the following pic isn’t Combat Mode Robocop but EM-208 Humanoid Drone, which is part of OmniCorp’s product line. Oops. My bad.

Not for nothing, this looks BADASS!

Check out the awesome image of a Robocop in I think his militarized combat mode. Probably the 3.0 version that invades an Al-Qaeda camp. He supposedly goes from “social mode” to “combat mode” and back. What do you guys think? Chime in below! Thanks to Dan for the pic!

MGM and Sony will drop the movie in theaters on August 9, 2013.

In RoboCop, the year is 2029 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the centre of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the home front. Alex Murphy is a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp utilises their remarkable science of robotics to save Alex’s life. He returns to the streets of his beloved city with amazing new abilities, but with issues a regular man has never had to face before.

But that’s not all cool kids!

Let just take an idea from the 80′s….and…add transformers, terminators, halo, batman, and pacific rim. Let’s call it Robocop since people remember the title, but don’t really remember the film. This film is dead in the water.

batman?! Where the fuck do you see batman in this.

I am not sure about this movie, it may surprise me though.

You know what, I liked the remakes of Total Recall, Fright Night, and Conan. They didn’t impact me the same way as the originals, but I enjoyed them nonetheless. I think I’ll enjoy this too. There’s really no way it could have the same impact as the original, and I’m not expecting it to.

Agreed this film looks like a a sci-fi channel original starring Dean Cain. Too bad Aronofski passed on this, that would have been an amazing film. Did he feel this was beneath him? I know he passed on Wolverine too butI think that was studio pressure from Fox.

finaly someone who isnt and idiotic hater,im so done with people who cannot take out their nostalgia glasses and aparently doesnt know what reboot means either

People are so stupid and such haters. Reboots/Remakes are just about some of the most entertaining movies these days (whether they’re good or bad) WHY??? because you have something to judge them against, you get to enjoy how they improved on certain aspects, and on the opposite end how they fucked up some other aspects. Am I the only person that sees these reboots/makes and goes “wow I cant believe they didn’t do that in the original, thats so cool!” or “wow they really fucked that scene up, the original did it better” the point is its ENTERTAINING whether you will ever want to see the movie again in the future or not.

you are not alone there are still robocop fans who arent reatarded and grumpy dinosaurs who cant understant what REBOOT MEANS,the new robocop looks awesome and i cant wait for this movie to be released

so,any suit now looks like batmans suit just because it is black? wow !awesome logic that you have there sir!, also the concept of iron and robocop are very alike so what do you spected?

  • http://www.facebook.com/enmanuel.aguileraleon Enmanuel Aguilera Leon

yeah ,they totally should use the same scripts of the 80s just to make all the grumpy haters happy right? do you guy even know what REBOOT means???

  • http://www.facebook.com/enmanuel.aguileraleon Enmanuel Aguilera Leon

he is just hating, haters dont have logic

  • http://www.facebook.com/enmanuel.aguileraleon Enmanuel Aguilera Leon

the originals movies had those elements too, they had cyborgs ninjas and that concept is almost the same as terminators so,your argument is invalid, halo?tranformers? what?

Aronofsky wanted an organic Robocop. He didn’t want any of his mechanics to be on the outside. He wanted an esoteric Robocop where he looked normal but had mechanical inner workings. or “inner strength”. Trust me. It would’ve BLOWN.
