Has the ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ Villain Been Found?

Comic Books Movie is reporting that an Australian radio host has an inside tip on who will be playing the villain in Star Wars: Episode VII.

The morning radio show hosts on Fox FM in Melbourne claim John Noble of Fringe fame will be the heavy in Ep VII. For you Lord of the Rings fans Noble also played Denethor in Return of the King.

Again, this is purely rumor until confirmed.

That being said, JJ Abrams, who is directing Ep VII, did produce Fringe, and he has been known to use the same actors in his projects; so I wouldn’t be surprised if this pans out.

Are you all excited for these new Star Wars films? As a fan, it’s something I’ve been wanting for years.

    Excellent casting news! He was a bad man in LOTR, and he’s a thespian actor. Quality!

    Now if they could just give us a Vader/Palpatine spinoff movie of them wiping out Jedi, and constructing the Empire, and the Rise of the rebels, That would be just dandy!

    hmmm he’s too similar looking to Ian McDiarmid he looks like an Emperor clone, now I could see him playing an old Luke and mentoring young Jedi’s. They need a younger unstoppable villain not a repeat

    That all depends on how he’s written and depicted. The biggest problem is that Lucas hasn’t written a good movie himself since the originals. So hopefully now he’s got no say in this script, it won’t be a rinse repeat like the prequels were…

    My point is they are both similar. Why get a guy that looks and acts essentially the same as the original. Im just hoping they go in a different direction. Then Palpatine’s look a like is what I meant. Something different and obviously McDiarmid hasnt done as much lets hope its something unexpected

    Great choice if this rumour is true. Good actor. Great presence on screen.Could easily see him play the villian.
