Peter Dinklage is the Villain in ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’

game-of-thrones-peter-dinklageVariety is confirming what we kind of already knew, Bryan Singer has cast Games of Thrones‘ Peter Dinklage as the villain in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

As usual, Singer let everyone know about the casting via his Twitter:

“Officially like to welcome #PeterDinklage from #GameOfThrones to #XMEN #DaysofFuturePast Very very excited!”

Dinklage joins a plethora of actors from past X-Men films, including James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Ian McKellan, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Anna Paquin, Shawn Ashmore and Ellen Page.

The movie is based on the comic of the same name by Chris Claremont.

X-Men: Days of Future Past hits theatres July 18, 2014.

    That tweet doesn’t say anything about him being the villain. Though that would be the logical casting.
