Marc Webb Drops Another Pic From ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2′

amazingspider-man-ssBANNERLooks like Marvel is getting some help from the feds to uncover the source of my leaks.

Just kidding.

Marc Webb is doing his thing on twitter as he drops another behind the scenes pic from the production of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 featuring creepy federal agents. I still haven’t seen the first movie and will eventually get around to it. Check out the pic below.

fedsSynopsis for those not in the know:

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 drops in theaters May 2, 2014.

    This is getting very lame.

Constantly “dropping” these twitter pics like he’s desperate for people not to lose interest in his project.

When do you ever see James Cameron or Martin Scorcese constantly dropping new pics from their projects versus just making a good movie and letting their work speak for itself?

Stupid sequel to a stupid cash-grab remake that should never have happened in the first place.

I disagree. Ask Vin Diesel about his 39 million facebook fans. Social Media is now the name of the game.

  • Convoy

I have to agree. Bryan Singer just did the same thing. I don’t see the big deal. Social media is everywhere and it’s how the younger generation stays in the know. It’s no different than how Harry Knowles started AICN and he had his set photos.

  • AlexiasLazar

Oh AICN, the website that time forgot… I agree with the over-Tweeting, especially these random photos that the directors choose… put away your iPhone and concentrate on the story!!

  • ANTI Douche

    Yup.
    That’s two rando’s playing Feds…
Is he (Webb) trying to look like silly?

Will it be as boring and cheesy as the first movie? He might as well twitpic his lunch if this is all he’s going to give people.

I didn’t like the last Spider-man but that was mostly because I’m not a big fan of origin films to begin with. You can imagine what I thought of TWO orgin films out four in the span of only ten years. That said, this next one looks like it might be good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p85e6ILS_EA
