Wow, Life Of Pi won way more awards than people were probably expecting.

I thought BRAVE sucked as a Pixar film. There wasn’t anything special about it. I can’t believe it beat out the others, especially Wreck It Ralph. Wreck it Ralph was a great animated film.

    Agreed.

Ok, I get and long predicted Liberal Hollywood’s complete snubbing of Zero Dark Thirty, but was not expecting them to snub Spielberg & Lincoln!
Considering Life of PI wasn’t on ANYONE’s radar, I’m going to consider it this year’s Crash!

The Academy is only concerned with Hollywood politics and None of the major awards is given for artistic merit.

Anyone else think it’s bullshit the little girl from Beasts of the Southern Wild didn’t win? A 6 year old carried a whole fucking movie, but doesn’t merit the Oscar. Bullshit!!!

  • Luigy

I completely agree. I feel like Jennifer Lawrence won because of her popularity. Honestly I’m getting sick of her overexposure.
