Having just recently gathered a windfall of about $30 million, Lakeshore, a production company will now hire Mark Neveldine for the thriller, “The Vatican Tapes.
A lot of debt restructuring has gone into the company. Assets include a film library of 600 titles, 65 of which was produced under its own hand. Laekshore is most popular for helping to produce Kate Beckinsale’s “Underworld” quartet.
Neveldine who directed “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance,” has already a relationship with Lakeshore. He directed “Crank” and “Crank: High Voltage.” It is unknown when “Vatican Tapes” will commence, but definitely there will be a new pope by that time.
