New ‘Man of Steel’ Total Film Covers

Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new photos from Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel” starring Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, and Laurence Fishburne.

The photos comes from cover of the latest issue of Total Film, which features Superman (Played by Henry Cavill) and Lois Lane (played by Amy Adams)

Snyder directed the film from a screenplay written by David S. Goyer.

In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Cavill) is a young twentysomething journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone’s imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question – Why am I here? Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Costner), Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions. But when the world needs stability the most, it comes under attack. Will his abilities be used to maintain peace or ultimately used to divide and conquer? Clark must become the hero known as “Superman,” not only to shine as the world’s last beacon of hope but to protect the ones he loves.

Don’t know what I think of the costume. With Supes, less is more. Don’t stray too far from the original and give him a long flowing cape. Maybe it’s one of those things where it doesn’t photograph well. Maybe?

The suit Is not doing it for me, two changes i’d make would be to tone down the shininess and just add some red undies, I know they are outdated but they are iconic and just a solid blue suit looks odd, they could have at least thrown in a yellow/red belt to break it up

I never noticed how shiny the suit was. In the other pics it doesn’t look shiny at all and looks perfect. Looks kinda cheap with this shiny metallic look. Don’t like it.

I don’t know why these costume designers feel the need nowadays to pack in every little detail; like how this suit is full of tiny S’s. They acknowledge that it probably won’t be scene/noticed on-screen anyway, so why bother. This probably would look just as good, if not better, with a solid look to it.
