Whenever I see a family and a house these days in relation to horror, part of me unconsciously tunes out. I find myself thinking, “Yep, that’s a good way to make your budget back.” And the marketing for each are almost entirely the same, so it’s very difficult to differentiate between the teeny-bopper cash grabs and the films that will actually be talked about after their opening weekend.
I ignored ‘The Conjuring’, not realizing it was a James Wan film, not realizing it didn’t cut down its content to get that much desired PG-13 audience. Were it not for Latino Review’s own Da7e, this video review very likely wouldn’t exist. Check it out below.
