Ron Burgundy is writing a tell-all memoir titled Let Me Off at the Top! My Classy Life and Other Musings, which will tell the story of Burgundy, the insensitive newscaster played by Will Ferrell in Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgandy and later this year, Anchorman: The Legend Continues.
The biography is being published by Publishers Crown (part of Random House). According to them, the book “will offer a rare glimpse behind the camera into the real life of a man many consider to be our greatest living news anchor” as well as “share personal anecdotes about the women in his life, about his dog, Baxter, and his legendary news team. Along the way, he’ll also give sage advice on a variety of topics that matter most to him.”
In the upcoming Anchorman sequel, San Diego’s top rated newsman, Ron Burgund returns to the news desk. Also back for more are Ron’s co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone, weather man Brick Tamland, man on the street Brian Fantana and sports guy Champ Kind – All of whom won’t make it easy to stay classy…while taking the nation’s first 24-hour news channel by storm. The film stars Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, David Koechner, Kristen Wiig, James Marsden, Dylan Baker, Meagan Good, Greg Kinnear, and Harrison Ford.
The book is scheduled to be published on November 19 in the US, which is one month before Anchorman: The Legend Continues hits theaters on December 20.
