Deleted Scene and Outtakes from ‘Iron Man 3′

I know a lot of people weren’t happy with Iron Man 3. Especially the amount of respect given (or not given) to certain iconic characters from the Iron Man comics.

I don’t want to get all spoilery, so I won’t go into details, but I had no problem with the changes made. I felt they served the story well and even enhanced certain other aspects of the movie. I guess, in this case, not having read the comics was a good thing, because I went into the film without any preconceived notions of how the characters should be portrayed.

That being said, Iron Man 3 went on to earn more than $1 billion worldwide, so I can’t be the only person who liked it.

Now, let’s get to the reason we are here.

We have two new videos for you from IM3. The first is a deleted scene featuring Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin and the second is an outtake showing Robert Downey Jr losing his shit again and again.

Okay, now I am going to get into SPOILER TERRITORY, so consider yourself warned!

At the end of Iron Man 3 tony Stark destroys all his armor, so where does this leave him in Avengers: The Age of Ultron? Robert Downey Jr is signed on for the next two Avengers films, so it’s not like Iron Man won’t be back.

How do you think Joss Whedon will orchestrate Stark’s return as Iron Man?

Iron Man 3 hits DVD and Blu-ray September 24th.

i bet he will build a new armor

    Holy shit.

Tony IS the Iron Man, no matter what he wears, when it needed, he will be there to fight, AND at the end, he picked up a screwdriver from the ground of the destroyed mansion, meaning that its the only thing he needs.

    Jarvis will likely be Ultron.

Too bad about that deleted scene because the Mandarin turned out to be a complete joke.

  • Dyce Raptor

Possibly. But I also see Ultron being made by the Council from the Avengers movie, in an attempt to have a “controllable” hero.

  • The Usual Suspect

The entire movie was a gag reel and a d*ck slap to comic fans everywhere.

  • Barchiel

Ultron is what the Council wanted to use to fight the aliens on the Avengers, but it ‘wasn’t ready’.

Hands down one of the worst super hero films ever (almost as bad as
X-men Last Stand, and Spiderman 3). The Mandarin is supposed to be to
Iron Man what the Joker is to Batman. I get it, the Fu-Man Chu thing is
racist. Casting Ben Kingsley or even an actor who passes for some darker
skinned ethnicity was a wise choice. However, there is no reason
whatsoever to assume that using ten magic rings wouldn’t work in a world
where you have a hulk, aliens, super-soldier serum, flying exo-suits,
etc. The only reason this film was successful is because its still
riding the momentum of the avengers and people are sheep. They really
disrespected the source material and made a terrible film.

If last stand and Spiderman 3 are the worst superhero movies, then we are not that bad.

Perhaps when Ultron starts out everyone will mistake him for Iron Man thus creating the need for Tony to become Iron Man again to clear his name? Remember in IM3 when the armor attacks Pepper while Tony is sleeping.? That was essentially Ultron right there.
