A few days ago we had a chance to sit down with Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, director James Wan and screenwriter Leigh Whannell and talk about the upcoming sequel “Insidious: Chapter 2″.

The famed horror team of director James Wan and writer Leigh Whannell reunite with the original cast of Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Barbara Hershey and Ty Simpkins in “Insidious Chapter 2,” a terrifying sequel to the acclaimed horror film, which follows the haunted Lambert family as they seek to uncover the mysterious childhood secret that has left them dangerously connected to the spirit world.

    I am one of the few who didn’t like Insidious too much. Having Darth Maul’s smaller brother being the prime evil was kind of hilarious, and the shock effects didn’t work too well on me. I think Dead Silence was a much better horror movie by Wan. And no, I don’t like torture porn, I think that The Haunting (1963) is still one of the best horror movies ever, just like The Legend of Hell House (1973). And yes, I think that The Haunting (1999), which contains elements of those two brilliant movies, is not in the same league with those classics.
